Tiger Beatdown ftw!
Just a quick one today: a link to a beautifully-written takedown of a NYT video about a trans woman, at Tiger Beatdown. ETA: I failed to note that the post linked to was written, in fact, by C.L.Minou, of The Second Awakening, an excellent blog about life, love and the trans experience.
And let me add that Tiger Beatdown is one of the absolute best sites on the web for feminist critique of pop-culture. Check out her series on the Apatovian oeuvre, particularly.
